Refilled ink is not warrantied, not recommended, and its use compromises quality tests. If the printer suffers any print quality issues, it is possible that any help offered in the printer support documentation or here on the Community will be useless or at least compromised. This is easily resolved: never ask for help from HP Tech Support. Using refilled ink likely violates the terms of your printer warranty. Some of the checkpoints won't work - checking ink levels, for instance. Refilled ink is not a splendid choice for any printer of any brand - eventually the use of non-branded, refilled ink will likely damage the printer ink system and the rest of the printer components. The question is whether you want to risk this nice printer by choosing to do so. Answer is that there is nothing preventing you from doing so.
